Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup semolina or rice flour for dusting (100 gm)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes until the yeast begins to foam.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the olive oil and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients, and stir until a dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and set aside in a warm place to rise for about an hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a ball.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and place it on a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  • Add your desired toppings and bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
