- 3 cups chopped yellow onions (2 large onions)
- 2 tbsp good olive oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 5 pounds ground turkey breast
- 1 1/2 cups plain dry bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 1/2 cup Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, Oak and pepper until well combined.
Place the mixture into a loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the meatloaf cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
